George Roeder, Flat Track hero, came out of retirement after a few decades to win the Vintage Race at Del Mar in '96. He rode Team Obsolete's Matchless G50 CSR. Here he celebrates his victory with old cronnies ,Ernie Pico and 'The Sandy Bandit" Cliff Miejors. George slid into the big Victory Lane in the sky , in 2003 . He is missed.
