Stevie Bonsey, AMA national #80 was injured in a racing incident at
the Springfield Mile on May 29th. He suffered a broken C1 cervical
spine fracture. In other words, a broken neck.
Fortunately the long term prognosis is good. But Stevie's going to have three months in a halo brace and then rigorous physical therapy. It's going to be a long road to recovery and the racing community needs to support one of our favorite riders.
