Bryan Smith came out of nowhere to nail second place. Smith has won so many Sacto Miles in grand style that this doesn't surprise me. Maybe this will convince him not to retire. Lets hope so.
Briar Bauman might be riding a little defensively, playing the math game to win the No.1 plate again. Thats OK with me as his sideways styles is a work of art and a pleasure to witness.
