34y is Tim Thomas competing with 38x Dave Aldana at an Ascot TT in 1969. They are just coming on to the short straight that leads to the tight right before the jump. One of Tim's old buds read my description of the meeting between the two at the reunion ( below) and thought the photo would be fitting.
Tim's Flat Track career ended at a local Scrambles with a devastating wreck where he almost lost a leg.
Tim didn't race again but it did not diminish his love for the sport.
